Lucy Brooks, FCIL,  Cert. Ed., Diploma for Linguists

Lucy Brooks has been in business for over 30 years, operating a successful commercial and industrial translation business for much of that time, specialising in commercial and industrial translations from German, French and Spanish into English. She founded eCPD Webinars in 2010.

A noted authority on professional development for translators, Lucy is recognised for her expertise on career development, business skills, and accreditation and training.

She was one of the first translators in the world to attain the prestigious professional chartered status for linguists in 2008. In 2009 - 2010, she instituted a series of webinars for the Chartered Institute of Linguists and drove forward a dynamic programme of professional development. From this she went on to found eCPD Webinars.

Lucy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and an associate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

She is based in Sussex, England.
