Born in France, Dominique Pivard now lives in Finland and is a translator and trainer with a special interest in CAT tools and technology. He is an expert in many CAT tools, as Wordfast, memoQ and many others and has been doing business and technical translations since 1985. His areas of expertise include forest and paper industry, medical equipments, corporate legal documents.
He obtained a master degree from French business school ESSEC (www.essec.fr) in 1984 and has studied Finnish at INALCO (www.inalco.fr). He became a sworn translator (valantehnyt kielenk).
