An Insight into what legal translators need to know about the law, the legal process and their role within it

Module 2 (DE-EN translation workshop) 26 June 2014.

The trainer chose four different texts for this translation workshop: a confidentiality agreement, an extract from Articles of Association, a definition of different homicides under German law, and some advice on exclusion clauses.

Richard Delaney

Having been called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2002, Richard has worked as a lawyer in both Germany and England, as well as a specialised legal translator from German into English. He has lectured on DE-EN legal translation at City University, London.
