When combined properly with translation memory and terminology management tools, machine translation (MT) can be a great productivity tool for translators.

Rubén R. de la Fuente took a 4-year translation course at the University of Granada, specializing in scientific and technical translation. He spent one year as exchange student at Aarhus Business School, Denmark, and another year at UC Berkeley, California. He completed a 1-month traineeship at the translation service of the European Commission after graduation.
He has been involved in the translation industry in different roles since 2001: translator, editor, proofreader, QAer, tester and project manager. Currently he is working as machine translation specialist in PayPal.
