Improving Quality and Productivity for Technical Translators
The translation of technical texts is time-consuming when more information about the topic of a text is required. Expediting this process will affect the quality of the translated text and the productivity of technical translators. The webinar focuses on this and the lesser known features of already familiar tools like Word or Google. It also gives a brief overview of new tools or functions not widely known such as IntelliWebSearch, ApSIC Xbench, Archivarius 3000 or dtSearch. Attendees need to be familiar with the use of CAT tools and be aware of the difference between a translation memory and a termbase.
