Latest registration time
Registration and payment for webinars must be made at least 2 hours before the broadcast time. Later registrations may not be processed in time for you to attend live, though we will do our best. However a link to the recording will be provided if your booking could not be processed in time. Please don’t forget to register for the webinar; a link to do so is sent with your automated receipt after purchase of your place. If you forget, we will try to rectify this for you, but the responsibility is ultimately yours.
The link to a webinar will be released only upon payment of the appropriate fee. It is your responsibility to ensure that the e-mail address used to register is correct. An incorrect address will mean that you will receive no link or other correspondence.
Copyright in all materials remains vested in us and/or in our speakers.
All reasonable effort will be made to ensure the webinars take place on the advertised date and time. In the event that the webinar does not take place an alternative date/time will be substituted by eCPD. No refund will be made should you be unable to attend the changed date/time, because you will be given access to the recorded webinar.
We use state-of-the art technology to deliver access to the webinars. The technology is compatible with most Internet browsers. We are not liable, and are not obliged to waive the webinar fee, if you cannot view the webinars due to firewalls, other hardware or software issues within your organisation or office, or failure of any technology used by you. Please check our website for a demonstration webinar at which you can check your technical set-up.
Recordings are normally available two days after an event and will remain available for at least 3 months (90 days). No liability is accepted if access to the recording ceases to be available during this period.
Continuing Professional Development
Webinars organised by eCPD may be included on your CPD records. They are approved by both ATA and ITI and count towards your CPD points/hours. When you attend a webinar, you will receive an automated message confirming that you attended the event, which can be used for self-certification purposes. IF you have booked and attended a training course, an attendance certificate will be sent to you.
The purchase of a seat at one of our webinars, or an access to one of our videos from the elibrary is non-transferable. Bookings for several people must be made in multiples, and the names of the people intending to view supplied to eCPD Ltd.
Use of your personal data
We will not use the data you enter into the webinar registration form for any other purpose than to contact you with information about the specific webinar for which you have registered, to keep you informed of future webinars, and to analyse our webinars after the event. We do not pass on your details to any other organisation, except in the case of an organisation for whom we are specifically organising an event. You have the option to unsubscribe from any promotional email that we might send you in the future.
We do not store credit card data nor do we pass it on to any third party.
It is essential that the email address you enter into the registration form is correct. An incorrect email entered at this point means you will not receive the link to attend the webinar. It is your responsibility to check this and we cannot be held liable if you do not receive a confirmation link due to a mistake in this part of the form.
Cancellation by you
Due to the high amount of administration involved against the relatively low fee for an individual webinar, refunds are not given in the event of cancellation by you. Access will be provided to the recorded session for those unable to attend. However, at the management’s discretion, refunds may be made in highly exceptional circumstances. An administration fee of £8 will be applied to such refunds. Bank transfer fees in such cases are payable by the customer.
Cancellation or postponement by us
eCPD Ltd reserves the right, for a serious and unavoidable reason such as accident or illness, to postpone or even cancel the webinar. In the event of postponement, any payment already received will be transferred to the new date. In the event of cancellation by a speaker, we will make every effort to provide a new, equally qualified, speaker either for the original date, or for another date. We will keep all registrants informed of such changes. If eCPD is unable either to postpone the webinar, or rearrange it with a different speaker, any payments already made will be returned to the registrant.
From time to time eCPD offers discounts for limited periods. Customers make use of the discount by applying a code valid for the period of the offer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the code is entered correctly at the time of purchase. Refunds cannot be made if the code has not been applied at the time of purchase.
Limitation of liability
Our obligation is to use reasonable care in the selection of our speakers, having regard to their status within the profession/industry in which they work. We may substitute speakers for the advertised speaker in the event of cancellation by a speaker or other matters making it impractical to use the advertised speaker
Neither we nor our speakers are liable for any errors or omissions in the content of the presentation
Without prejudice to the above, our liability is limited to the return of any fee paid by you to us for access to the webinar, in the event that:
- We fail to use reasonable care in the selection of our speakers
- We are found to be liable in respect of the content, or any omissions therein, of any presentation
- The webinar does not take place at all.
Since January 1st 2015, eCPD Webinars is no longer registered for VAT in the UK. This means that no customer will pay VAT on their purchase.
Purchases from our Library shop: Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013 (Regulations)
By making a purchase from our library shop of a streamed webinar you are giving your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right to cancel once payment has been made and the digital streaming process has begun.

Where you have arranged the topic, and arranged the speaker, the copyright in all materials remains vested in you and your speakers

Continuing Professional Development
Your organisation is responsible for accrediting CPD points for the webinars arranged on your behalf by eCPD.
Payment of fees
We invoice you immediately after the webinar is completed, and payment from you is due within 14 days of the invoice.We make a per delegate charge on numbers over 50 and this is invoiced based on the number of registrations made.
In the event that for an unforeseen reason the webinar does not take place an alternative date/time will be substituted by eCPD, by agreement with you.
Any cancellation by you of a webinar must be made in writing. Where the cancellation is made after the webinar has been scheduled and organised, no refund of the basic fee will be made. eCPD will not invoice for attendees over the number of 50, as agreed in the contract. If cancellation is made after eCPD has begun to organise on the webinar, you will be liable to pay the agreed basic fee to eCPD. If the cancellation is made before eCPD has begun to organise the webinar 25% of the basic fee is payable to eCPD.
Responsibilities and liabilities
Your responsibilities and liability are as follows:
At service levels 1 and 2
- You will appoint the speaker, negotiate and pay the speaker fee
- You will advertise the event, and send invitations to your mailing list
- You will liaise closely with eCPD regarding any queries
- You will ensure that you and your speaker are available for the practice
- You will ensure that you and your speaker and panellists are available for the webinar
- You are liable for the content of the webinar
At service level 2
- You will receive and track payments from your delegates
- You will inform eCPD when fees have been paid (with the relevant identifying information) so that eCPD can release the links to the webinar.
