Before setting up aDaVista, a consultancy and training company which focuses on data protection, GDPR and Freedom of Information, Robyn had a 19 year career with the Foreign Office. Robyn had a variety of roles most notably as a Trainer (IT, accounts and Data Protection); she spent the last three years of her time in the Foreign Office as a Data Protection Casework Officer and Trainer. Robyn is an Associate member of CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) having achieved its Certificate in Training Practices. Robyn’s company aDaVista is committed to providing assistance in using and interpreting data protection and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation. On a personal level, Robyn has a love for languages particularly French, German, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, with a smattering of others thrown in, such as Moroccan Arabic and Norwegian.
