Ron Finlay MCIPR MCIM
Ron has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate communications.
He has extensive experience of writing and editing for corporate and consumer readers, having worked as a financial journalist early in his career, followed by many years in public relations and communications consultancy, advising government, corporate and voluntary sector clients.
Ron founded Ron Finlay Communications in 2010 and much of his work is in the health, education and charity sectors, as well as in financial services. He has run training courses for several years, in subjects ranging from copywriting to crisis management.
Ron’s writing output ranges from annual reports, brochures and corporate strategy documents to consumer leaflets, newspaper and magazine articles, social media posts and web copy. His clients have included the BBC, the National Health Service (NHS), Transport for London, Arthritis Research UK, University College London and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Ron has an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
